Space Cleared to Prepare New Student Garden

Nassau, The Bahamas  – The members of the recently formed Rotary Club of Old Fort (RCOF), the newest Rotary club in The Bahamas, organized a cleanup day at Gambier Primary School in Gambier Village. The cleanup initiative was undertaken to create a space for a student garden.

Bruce Ferguson, President of the RCOF said, “Our club is proud to help children in our community to understand the importance and joy of growing their own food and forming healthy eating habits.” The club engaged a business partner from the community, Caribbean Landscaping, to assist its members with the project.
