Nassau, New Providence - The Bahamas Homeschool Association is holding its 3rd annual Homeschool Curriculum and Science Fair Exhibition at The Earle Weech Auditorium, Calvary Bible Church, 62 Collins Avenue, Nassau, Bahamas from 6:30-9:00pm on June 15, 2009.   All are welcome to attend.   Family Islanders are especially welcome.

Inform yourself!   Investigate the possibilities!   Broaden your choice! Talk with curriculum users! Celebrate with our graduates!

By homeschooling we can take advantage of the opportunity to:

  • enhance parent-child bonding
  • teach the joy of learning
  • build our children’s self-esteem
  • direct our children toward heaven instead of the world
  • ensure that our children achieve much more than the basics in education
  • use our resources creatively to assist our children in achieving their academic goals
  • provide a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment for their academic advancement
  • provide improved teacher to student ratio
  • allow them to be self-sufficient and develop independent learning skills
  • use the natural opportunities life brings in order to teach and model self-respect, honesty, discipline, and Godly perspective
  • choose how and with whom our children are socialized
  • socialize and participate in field trips with regularity
