PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas  - Ben & Jerry’s Marina Village is starting 2017 off on a positive note having recently partnered with the Bahamas Alliance for Animal Rights and Kindness (BAARK) to raise a whopping $10,000 to better assist that organization in its efforts. Ben & Jerry’s philosophy has always been one of giving back to the community and consistently does so through several charitable events each year.

Team members of the tasty ice cream eatery supported BAARK through its recent “Strut your Mutt” charity initiative held at Goodman’s Bay. The fundraising and awareness event makes it possible for BAARK to continue its mission to educate the public and to spay/neuter and create projects to reduce the stray dog and cat population in The Bahamas. The local NGO also seeks to end the suffering of these furry four-legged residents and the need for their euthanization.
