Nassau, Bahamas - Support adult literacy, Bahamas First General Insurance donated to Project Read, a free and confidential programme which uses a variety of methods and a cadre of volunteer tutors to teach adult students how to read. Gary Sweeting, Chairman of Public Relations, Project Read explained, “The purpose of Project Read Bahamas is to enable individuals to acquire the listening, speaking and reading skills they need to solve the problems they encounter in daily life: to take full advantage of opportunities in their environment and to participate fully in the positive transformation of their Society.” Pictured L-R are Sweeting and Kevin Hudson, Business Development Manager, Bahamas First.
