Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - Bahamas Social Media Summit 2016 has just been announced during a rotary tour by experienced speaker and seminar promoter Mitch Carson and David Mackey, creative director and president of Mackey Media Ltd. The event is scheduled to take place April 5th, 2016 at Grand Lucayan. Under the theme, ‘ Maximizing profits through Social Media,’ Bahamas Social Media Summit 2016 is a partnership between Mitch Carson and Mackey Media Ltd. The April 5th event is the first of four events planned for Grand Bahama Island during 2016.

This first of four Bahamas Social Media Summit events will feature five international presenters, one Bahamian and a guest presenter.  Mr. Mackey stated; "We believe that through our Bahamas Social Media Summit series,  'Educational Tourism' will become the new buzz... Work...then play!"   He further stated;   “The overall scheme is geared towards bringing in noted speakers with mass international following to the Bahamas to learn and play. Where these presenters travel to, their fans will follow to be inspired. The other part of the equation is that fact that their followers are generally affluent. “

Joel Comm, the keynote speaker is a New York Times Best-selling author – focused on marketing, social media and online business. He is an entrepreneur, a sought-after public speaker who leaves his audience inspired, entertained, and armed with strategic tools to create a new media campaign that will explode their business.

Mitch Carson says of Joel Comm; "Mr. Comm, a speaker/ motivator who generally charges in the mid five figure range to speak, will be an experience that no one will want to miss. At $199 per ticket, attendees of Bahamas Social Media Summit will get the opportunity to see him at a fraction of his usual cost elsewhere."
