Nassau, Bahamas - Statement by Hon. Philip Brave Davis – DPM and MP for Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador sends condolences on the passing of Mr. B. K. Bonamy:
Ann and I mourn the passing of a great Bahamian brother and friend Mr. Bernard Kenneth Bonamy, former Commissioner of Police.
This great hero to all Cat Islanders served our nation with distinction and pride.
His brave loyalty to country, valiant continuous fight to protect Bahamians, and committed passion to command and advance the institution of the Royal Bahamas Police Force are lasting testaments to the measure of this great Bahamian whose life we celebrate today.
I therefore would like to extend my deepest condolences to his wife, the former Shirley Hall and all the children and grand children on his passing.
