Nassau, Bahamas - On Saturday July 09, 2016, Buscheme Armbrister, DNA Candidate for the Carmichael area, took to the streets of Emerald Gardens within his constituency. During his neighborhood rounds many residents reached out to the Candidate complaining about the overgrown bushes in the area. Ms. Fermeta Whitfield, one of the residents within Emerald Gardens said she is  fed up by the lack of concern for the area from the sitting Member of Parliament. She further explains how crime is at an increasingly high rate and the high bushes are a breeding ground for house break-ins among other things. DNA Carmichael candidate & his team (many from the area) decided to jump on this right away. Mr. Armbrister is known to be a man of his word and  has said from day one 'He is here to bring change.. No more time for talk. Just action.' For quite some time Mr. Armbrister has been studying The Broken Window theory. The  term "Broken Windows"  metaphor used to describe the concept "If a window is broken and left unrepaired, people walking by will conclude that no one cares and no one is in charge." This theory says that the little things matter. Which in essence means sweat the small stuff.

Mr. Armbrister expressed that while canvassing the Carmichael area it has been noted that the parks are unkept. The bathrooms are despicable, the landscaping is not maintained, There are basketball courts without nets or rims. A few of the young men within the area asked Mr. Armbrister to purchase nets for the basketball court and so he did.  Mr. Armbrister mentioned that we are trying to keep the young boys off the streets and keep them busy with something productive. As simple as basketball nets. Yet the sitting member of parliaments for Carmichael is the minister of Youth, Sports & Culture. This raises the question what are the funds being used for if the funds allocated to maintain the parks aren't being used to do just that?  Once again this is where accountability comes in. Persons need to be held accountable.

Mr. Armbrister is tired of the traditional politician who decides to come 3 months before election and start painting buildings, removing derelict vehicles,  cutting down the bushes, paving  the roads, fixing up the parks etc. The  residents  of Carmichael have complained that for the last 4  years they have not seen or heard from Minister Danny Johnson. It's unfortunate as he was chosen to represent and speak on behalf of his constituents. We have been on the ground in Carmichael from September of last year.  Mr. Armbrister says that 'The biggest room in the world is always the room for change'. He wants to be here for the constituents of the Carmichael community and if given the opportunity he guarantees to not let them down.
