The Kiwanis Club of Over the Hill recently made a scholarship donation of $2,000 for a family island student to attend the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI).

In the past, the club focused on Old Bight High School graduates and active Key Club members on Cat Island. They have decided to broaden their reach and make the scholarship available to all family islanders.

The funds to support this donation were derived from the club’s annual cook out.

BTVI President, Dr. Robert W. Robertson is grateful to organizations that continue to invest in the future of today’s youth, thus investing in the country’s future.
