The Mister Bahamas Organization is in search of 'The Classic Man', and the finals will go down on December 13th in Nassau, in what promises to be a great show, where the lives of two young Bahamian men will change forever.

"There have been hours of preparation and commitment by our contestants," said director Oswald Ellis, "and they are ready to give 100%, each hoping to win the fans, and judge's approval, in order to be awarded the titles."

This year, the organization eliminated the name "Manhunt" from the titles and have added more substance to what is expected of the winners, in preparation for them to represent The Bahamas internationally. Each must have a platform that is either charitable or an important cause he seeks to bring awareness to with the title.

This year's five Mister Bahamas contestants are Kyle Kemp, Jarell Coakley, Lacarz Brown, Rashad Smith, and Samuel Jervis. The three Mister Teen Bahamas contestants are Jarad Rolle, Dometrius Taylor, and Nicholas Fox.

Ellis said, "I have no doubt that programs such as Mister Bahamas and Mister Teen Bahamas are needed,  as they provide doorways, not just for future development of our young men, but additionally it allows them to be seen in a light that is productive and not over shadowed by the rise of crime in  our country. These young men are driven with ambition and it's in the country's best interest to support them."

Rakeem Grant, the organization's executive director in Nassau, has been working overtime organizing grooming and development workshops for all the contestants benefit which gives them a level playing field and a shot at the title.

Tickets are now on sale, and voting for "Mister Internet" is underway on the official Facebook page, and the fan base is steadily increasing.

The public is invited to come out on Sunday, December 13th to the Breezes ballroom, to encourage all the men, and cheer on your favorite.  Cocktails start at 7pm with the show commencing at 7:30pm. General admission is $25 and VIP is $50 and are available from any of the contestants, or at the door.

This year's sponsors include: thebahamasweekly.com, Mario's Bowling Palace, BTC, MMTS, Printmasters (Freeport), Avista Lounge, Pico LaPelle, Versatile, Pleasurable Goods and POJ.
