NEMA wishes to announce that all persons evacuated from the Southeast Bahamas will be returned to their respective islands at the expense of the Government.

The exact date of return flights to the islands will be announced after the proper technical assessments have been made to ensure the safety of those who will be returning.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, residents evacuated from Bimini are expected to be returned at the earliest opportunity.

NEMA wishes to thank all those agencies and persons who participated in making the entire process of evacuation a success.
