Following the recent One Blood Benefit Edition of the popular old school reggae party series, Concept’s Leah Davis presented a donation to the NPCC Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund.

“In the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, I immediately wanted to do something special to support those communities and families that were impacted. As a result, the summer edition of the event was rebranded to a benefit party,” explained One Blood founder, Leah Davis. “We are so grateful to our loyal and new followers for their patronage and generosity in supporting this important cause.”

Hosted at Senor Frogs and Never Say Never Again in downtown Nassau, the event was well supported by a wide cross section of reggae lovers, young and young at heart, all seeking a musical trip down memory lane. Music for the throwback reggae party was be provided by two of country’s most skilled and versed deejays – Selector Ty and Selector 3D, who brought back old school reggae favorites all night, from the likes of Bob Marley, Dennis Brown and Barrington Levy, just to name a few.

Accepting the donation on behalf of New Providence Community Church was Pastor Matthew Sweeting, who expressed gratitude and explained that their work in supporting those persons and families affected by Dorian continues and will be ongoing for a long time as they support the rebuilding of lives and communities.

The next One Blood Old School Reggae Party is the holiday season edition, scheduled for December 26, 2019. Interested persons should follow @ConceptsMarketing on Instagram and Facebook for event updates.
