Scotiabank Sponsors Professional Development Courses at BTVI

Nassau, The Bahamas - Scotiabank is providing scholarships for students to attend The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI).

The Bank has partnered with BTVI to help several potential entrepreneurs pursue Professional Development Courses. The certificate programs range from ten to fifteen weeks and are offered in business, beauty, construction, and fashion trades; auto mechanics; marine engine; and information technology; among other disciplines.

In an increasingly competitive global marketplace, it is important to ensure that we are providing students with the tools and techniques to keep pace with ever-changing technologies,” said Leah Davis, Senior Manager, Marketing and Public Relations at Scotiabank.
