Nassau, The Bahamas – Premium brands benefit from opportunities that reward customer loyalty through Sun Oil Limited, a Shell licensee’s, recent promotion.

Another grand prize winner from the “Take Off With Shell” summer promotion was Cheryl Bodie who won a family vacation to Harbour Island, Eleuthera.  Bodie’s excitement was palpable as she received her prize from Rufus Johnson Jr., Sun Oil’s Marketing Manager.  Johnson explained, “Every summer, Sun Oil creates a campaign that rewards customer loyalty.   We want our customers to value, appreciate and enjoy our prizes and so we listen to their feedback and then develop memorable promotions.”  Johnson continued, “This summer was especially incredible because our prize offerings provided strong incentives that attracted thousands of customers to fuel up with Shell.”

The promotion was enhanced through fostering partnerships with Bahamasair and Aliv that contributed prizes for lucky winners.  Johnson remarked, “Our summer of fuelling journeys that matter for our customers was strengthened with travel vouchers from Bahamasair and the latest iPhone available through Aliv.  These attractive prizes were appealing to everyone, particularly for our customers who posted photos of their receipts on our Sun Oil Facebook page for increased chances of winning.”  Johnson applauded partners and said, “Our organization appreciates the importance of establishing relationships with businesses invested in rewarding customer loyalty.  Through these strategic partnerships, our customers enjoy the greatest benefits and this is most important.”

Mark Desmangles, Recharge Account Executive at Aliv echoed similar sentiments as the Bahamasair executive.  Desmangles said, “Through collaborating with Sun Oil, we were able to connect with our Aliv recharge customers.  This was helpful because we could directly provide them with information about our quality products and excellent service available on a network that allows them to receive their plans and connect with subscribers on and off the Aliv network.”

Top winners of the Take Off With Shell promotion include Jermaine Messam who won an all-expenses paid trip to attend a Bruno Mars concert in Las Vegas, Nevada; Weneisha Ribgy won a family vacation for 4-persons to Orlando, Florida; and Cheryl Bodie won a prize package to beautiful Harbour Island, Eleuthera.  Other customers won thousands of dollars in Shell fuel vouchers and other smaller prizes.

Johnson confirmed that winners who travelled to Florida and Las Vegas expressed their appreciation for amazing experiences. He said, “We are heartened that our summer promotion brought family and friends together because this motivates us towards fuelling journeys that matter even more.”  He concluded, “At Sun Oil, as a caring, invested and committed Bahamian owned business, we thank our loyal customers for supporting us and will always look forward to welcoming them with a smile to our service stations.”
