It is with heavy hearts that we, the members of The Bahamas Press club 2014, join the Bahamas Faith Ministries International, Bahamians and the peoples of the world in mourning the passing of Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife, Ruth, Dr. Richard Pinder and the other six people who died in Sunday’s plane crash in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

In a chaotic world where complacency has become the order of the day and leaders and their emissaries try to negotiate peace treaties in an effort to ensure their own economic stability, Dr. Munroe was a loud global voice, proclaiming the Kingdom message of God, The Creator.

However, we mourn not with sadness or regrets, because in Dr. Munroe’s own words, he did the job that he was placed here to do and he was finished. He had emptied himself.

May he rest in peace.
