Nassau, New Providence  - Voting is underway ahead of the 2015 Top Model of the World event set to commence in August, and Bahamians and fans of Celeste Marshall, Top Model of the World Bahamas are urged to show their support by voting today at the official website: HERE

Back in December 2014, national director, Mrs. Willamae Deveaux officially sashed Celeste Marshall as the 2015 Top Model of the World Bahamas delegate. The Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, the Hon. Dr. Daniel Johnson was on hand to show the support of the nation as Celeste Marshall prepares to represent The Bahamas  at the 22nd annual event to be held in El Gouna, Egypt.

 "After a stellar performance last year by Peandrea Knowles who attended the event in Egypt, we look forward to another exciting competition in January with Miss Marshall," said Bahamas national director of Top Model of the World Williemae Deveaux.

The 22 year old 5’11" Nassau-born beauty, Celeste Ene Shannon Marshall is no stranger to the modelling or pageant world.  This beauty and brains bilingual medical student is enrolled at Monroe College in Rochelle, New York and is pursuing a degree in pediatrics.

"I am young, energetic, statuesque, shy and in love with life," she says on her profile. "Modeling is a great passion and one of my aspirations is to be a professional model."

TOP MODEL OF THE WORLD is a beauty pageant with an emphasis on modelling, and requires international entries to be between the ages of 17 and 25 years, to be at least 5’8", to be physically fit, to have good skin with no visible tattoos or body piercings, to have a good character, to have no criminal history, to be single (never married), have no children, to be friendly, to be easy to work with and she must be a citizen of the country that she represents.
