Nassau, Bahamas – In our fast flying world of technology, getting your news, updates and bills faster is the key! The Bahamas Water and Sewerage Corporation teamed up with BTC Bahamas for July, August and September to reward customers who joined their new e-Notification system with smartphones for being tech savvy and willing to try this new system.

The e-Notification system gives customers updates about service and payments via their smart phones. Customers can also manage their accounts, file complaints and see frequently asked questions through e-Notifications, which is a free service available when you sign up via the company’s website.

Visna Armbrister, WSC Public Affairs Manager said “The Corporation is very pleased with the results of the three-month long e-Notification campaign. Over 11,000 customers have signed up for e-Notifications, and we hope that even though the campaign has ended, that our customers will see the benefits of the programme and continue to sign up.”

The final winner for the promotional campaign was Dorissa Dorsett, who won a Samsung Galaxy S5 courtesy of BTC. “I'm excited to be the final winner of the Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, I think the e-Notification programme is extremely helpful, and my winning prize will be my husband's early Christmas present.”

In addition to signing up for e-Notification, customers can now pay their bills at local banks and cash-n-go locations rather than waiting in long lines at the corporation. Customers can still sign up for the e-Notification service via WSC’s website at www.wsc.com.bs, or at Water and Sewerage offices while paying bills.

Armbrister went on to add “…why wait to go to the post office to get your billing statements, or even worse to make all that effort, and your statement is not there. The Corporation would like to see every customer with an email address switch from the post office of using this easy and convenient means of receiving their billing statement on time, every time, guaranteed.”
