Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting incident that has left a 20 year old male in hospital.

Reports are that on Thursday 6th November 2014 shortly after 7:00pm, police received information that a male was at the Rand Memorial Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper right thigh. The male reported that while at his residence in Hawksbill, Grand Bahama, he was approached by a male known to him who pulled out a hand gun and shot him in the upper thigh. He was assisted to the Rand Memorial Hospital by private vehicle and is listed in guarded condition.

Police are investigating this matter.
