Freeport Container Ports lends assistance to House of Hope

Freeport, Grand Bahama - The House of Hope, a charitable based hostel for youngsters in the Pinder’s Point community got assistance for their programmes challenged youth through a donation from Freeport Container Port, one of the business units of Hutchison Port Holdings.

FCP Director, Godfrey Smith said “FCP is pleased to assist as the company realizes the important things needed to aid young people in gaining the life skills required to develop themselves as the leaders of tomorrow in The Bahamas.

“We will continue to work diligently with such organizations and praise their work that is bearing fruit with youngsters of that and surrounding communities on Grand Bahama,” said Mr. Smith.

Founders and operators of House of Hope, Gloria and Macheul Pinder said it take the support of all to ensure that “our growing programme continues to assist at risk youngsters who are only looking for an opportunity to develop themselves and become productive citizens.

“Through donations from the public we provide room and board, education and training, and as best possible a wholesome life and the daily necessities for those youngsters who find themselves wanting, often time through no fault of their own,” said the Pinders as they thanked Freeport Container Port.
