Freeport, Grand Bahama - Last week Lucaya International School acknowledged a major global event, United Nations Day. In a special school - wide celebration, students were encouraged to come to school in their national costume and/or colours, and to dress-up to represent some aspect of their country of origin.

Students also spoke on the various roles of the U.N., performed dances, sang and showed off some of their National talents. The final event of the day was a Parade of Nations, where every student proudly
displayed their national heritage, highlighting the rich diversity of the truly international school.
