West End, Grand Bahama - The new operators of the West End Airport (Old Bahama Bay Resort) announced yesterday that landing fees for private planes and jets have been dramatically reduced and the private airport has been upgraded.
The new fees for the 6,000 foot runway that were put in effect immediately are as follows: Residents and Home Owners Landing Fee NO CHARGE and all Other Planes or jets only $50. The overnight parking fees have been reduced as well to $10 for Guests and Free for Residents and hotel/marina guests.
This is very welcome news to Private Pilots and Plane owners which make the beautiful Old Bahama Bay Resort and West End even more desirable as a second home or vacation resort.
