Safety Seminar on the Way for Grand Bahama

Freeport, Bahamas - In the world of ever changing protocols one and dangers lurking that keep businesses from making the profits they had hoped, a group of company have come together to offer the businesses in Grand Bahama a free seminar to help.

Spearheaded by GlobalTech Systems and Patrol Services, with the support of Urban Renewal 2.0, Insurance Management and the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce on this Wednesday there will be a number of speakers addressing the various aspects of security.

This business safety Training will take place on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce and feature such speakers as Ryan Lowe, Director, GlobalTech Systems, Mr. Lowe is a certified alarm, lock and safe technician with certifications from the Associated Locksmiths of America since 1984, Safe and Vault Technicians Association since 1986 and the Alarm Association of Florida. He has over 28 year’s experience in the electronic security systems field.

Gaylord Taylor, Operations Manager, Patrol Services – Mr. Taylor has more than 17 year’s experience as a veteran of The Royal Bahamas Police Force. He is a certified International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) vessel, facility and company officer. He is a certified safety auditor and is fully trained in various security disciplines from Defensive Driving, Firearms Use, Crime Scene Investigations, Interrogation and Interview Techniques and has had various career development courses. Further he is member the American Society for Information Science (ASIS), a certified maritime security officer, and also an associate member at ACFE (fraud examiner),) and a certified safety auditor of the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP).

Kendrick Christie, Partner, Grant Thornton – His specialties are: Assurance services, Forensic and Fraud Investigation Experience, and his best practices are Internal Control and Anti-Money Laundering Experience.

Also Anthony Bowleg, Customer Support Department Head, Insurance Management. Mr. Bowleg has a BA in economics with a minor in Business from the University of Kansas. He has a certificate in insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. He is affiliated with various Scottish Masonic lodges, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and the Grand Bahama Amateur Athletic Associaton.

Over a two hour period beginning at 1 pm, the audience is expected to not only learn a lot, but also companies being represented will receive a free basic business security system for their businesses. Those companies already with systems, will have other offers.

Refreshments will be served.
