Nassau, Bahamas - SkyBahamas Airlines is very pleased with its reputation as one of the
leading community stakeholders. We have, over the past year partnered
with a wide cross section of organizations, and have supported them in
making many of their causes a reality.
Recently, we have been
lending a significant hand to the Bahamas Cancer Society through their
Nassau and Family Island Branches. We believe that that the Corporate
efforts expended on our part can make a life-saving difference for
someone and their family.
It is against this core conviction
that we are very pleased to announce our company's public support of the
Bahamas Cancer Society on October 15, 2010. The Cancer Society
will be allowed to establish a presence at our Domestic Check-In Station
at the Lynden Pindling International airport between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
A Cheque Presentation Ceremony took place on October 15th, whereupon we called upon other Corporate
Citizens to do the same. Furthermore, as a show of support the entire
staff were granted permission to wear colors and ribbons consistent
with the color theme of the Cancer Society on that day.
