Nassau, Bahamas - One of the crowning moments in the SkyBahamas’ success was experienced
on January 28, 2011 when they were recognized as the leader in the
Tourism Transportation Industry, and was awarded with the coveted
Cacique Award.
The award was received by SkyBahamas’ President & CEO Captain Randy
Butler and Chairman Peter Turnquest on behalf of the dedicated members
who comprise the SkyBahamas Team.
The Cacique Award is a clear recognition of
the many selfless acts of employees going above-and-beyond the call of
duty, and the company delivering on its core commitment to provide safe
and superior service to all of its customers.
Captain Butler along with Chairman Turnquest and the management team
have consistently led the change process. Since acquiring the company
in 2008, SkyBahamas has seen aggressive growth in the areas of staff
development, route expansion , philantrophic initiatives and
profitability.
Critical to its success is the contributions of the most talented
employees in the sector, and the many domestic and international
passengers who have embraced the company as their preferred carrier.
The awarding of the Cacique Award moves the company one step closer to
its vision of becoming the preferred airline serving both the domestic
and international communities.
