The Bahamas Weekly is pleased to announced that we are beginning our 4th Year of running FREE Summer Camp Listings for ANYONE/ANYWHERE in The Bahamas!

Summer is a time for children, and we want to ensure your children have a great summer. As a community service, The Bahamas Weekly allows anyone running a Summer Camp in The Bahamas to list all their information about their camp viewable to hundreds of thousands each month for FREE.

GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND:

Jun 22- 26: Annual Summer Soccer Camp, at the Freeport Football Rugby Club. 9am to 3pm daily. Professional visiting and local coaches put on the 5th annual camp teaching fundamentals and skill development. $175 per child and includes two (2) soccer uniforms, all lunches, water, and snacks. Jun 22- 27: BNT's Summer Safari, Rand Nature Centre, Settler's Way. 35 spaces available - first come, first served. Ages 8 to 14 years. 9am to 3pm. Hands on activities, National Park visits, adventurous expeditions and field studies. Lunch, materials and gear supplied. Call 352-5438. bnt@bnt.bs BNT members: $100. Non-members: $150

Jun 22 - Jul 17: Ms. D's Going Green Summer Fun Program, Lucaya International School. 4 week long (Monday to Friday) summer skills program for children ages 5-11. From 9am to 3pm. During your child’s time in the program, they will be involved in the following activities: Interactive learning : brainteasers/ brain busters, Swimming, Drama, Musical Activities – playing, singing, dancing and listening, Sports , Classroom Experiments, Baking and Craft Activities, Supervised games indoors and out, Field trips. AND c hildren will learn how to plant and take care of a vegetable garden, make and use compost, grow plants, make art out of ‘trash’, visit the recycling plant in Freeport (Presto recycling) and many other activities that teach them how they can be pro-active and take care of their Earth. $30/day, $150/week, and a $25 registration fee. Jun 22 - Jul 17: Musical Peacock Fine Arts Camp, lessons on a variety of instruments, including piano and drums, music theory, dance and drama.   4 to 14 years. 9am to 1pm weekdays. Jun 29-Jul 11: RATS Summer Shakespeare School - Students MUST attend every session. Monday to Friday,  9:30am and 3:30pm (SHARP). Venue is The Dack Home; #1 Symonette Drive, Fortune Bay. $295 per child. Children will bring their own healthy lunch and snacks to every session. Water will be provided. Jun 29 - Jul 4: Bahamas Safety NET Kids Camp - Island Jujutsu and Karate, Carmichael Rd, 8am to 1pm weekdays. Kids today are very vunerable, and need to be educated on the various dangers that they may come up against. Well this summer give your child an opportunity to do more than just have fun, let them learn how to survive. We are offering the phyical skills ofkarate and judo and the Amber Alert Certified Safety NET Program. They will walk away champions, confident and ready to face whatever life throws at them.
