Freeport,
Grand Bahama Island - Following a successful
recycling initiative launched on 19 September which included terminal
clean-ups and recycling campaigns, Freeport Container Port (FCP),
Freeport Harbour Company (FHC) and Grand Bahama Airport Company (GBAC)
wrapped up their participation in the joint environmental campaign
launched by parent company Hutchison Port Holdings Limited (HPH) and DP
World under the banner “Recycling Begins & Ends With You”. FCP, FHC

Lover’s Beach in Eight Mile Rock on 20 September.
The
“clean-up” team consisted of employees from all three business units as
well as family members. A team from the Bahamas National Trust provided
assistance with the collection of the large amount of debris found on
the beaches.
An estimated 200 bags of garbage were collected from both Xanadu Beach and Lover’s Beach on 20 September.

benefits they can bring to the communities in which they operate.
