Bahamas public welcomed to pay respects to Pastor Richard Pinder

The late Dr. Richard Pinder

Nassau, Bahamas - Dr. Richard Pinder Senior Vice President of Bahamas Faith Ministries International will lie in repose Monday December 1st 2014 in the Foyer of Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

The public is invited to pay their respects and sign the book
of condolence.

There will be no public viewing.

Funeral for Dr. Richard Pinder will be held on Tuesday December 2nd, 2014 at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center located on Carmichael Road, Nassau Bahamas.

A National Memorial will be held in Honor of Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe at the 15,000 seat Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium. The Home Going or Funeral Service for Dr. Myles and Pastor Ruth Munroe will be held on Thursday December4th at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center located on Carmichael Road, Nassau Bahamas.

Dr. Pinder was a gifted speaker, teacher, motivational speaker, leadership consultant, lecturer, administrator, counselor, advisor, coach and author.  He served in the Christian ministry for over thirty years.  His keen administrative abilities were fully utilized as Pastor of BFM Fellowship and as Sr. Vice President of Bahamas Faith Ministries International headquartered in Nassau, Bahamas.
 
He served as a founding trustee of the Third World Leadership Association (ITWLA) an internationally recognized group of world leaders devoted to the education, development and uplifting of third world nations. Dr. Pinder also served as an advisor to a number of ministries and was presbyter of the International Fellowship of Ministers, Temple Hills, Maryland

A specialist in the field of Human Resources Development, he authored the book “Mobilizing Human Resources” and “Redeemed and Justified” and “The Process of Purpose” all in bookstores, and have been used by a number of churches as a handbook for the training of their Ministry of Helps.
 
Dr. Pinder conducted Leadership Seminars for churches and private organizations. He had co-hosted a local television talk show called “Choices” as well as served as host and co-producer of the popular radio show “Music to Believe In”  He was especially gifted in the area of Ministry of Helps and traveled throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States.
 
Affectionately called 'Pastor Rich,' he led his fellowship with excellence.  His planning and organizational skills were only exceeded by his commitment and dedication to the service of others. While believing that every man is created in the image and likeness of God and therefore having the ability to tap into resources above ourselves and power greater than ourselves, he had dedicated his life to helping others see and to come to the realization of their true potential by serving God.
 
Richard Pinder held a Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Sociology and Social Work from Oral Roberts University, a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Kentucky, and a Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology.
 
He leaves behind his wife, and son Richard Pinder Jr. and daughter Talia Marie.
