Freeport, Bahamas - Get ready Grand Bahama! The Go-Trade Business Expo 2013 is coming to Freeport this October 26th at the Sir Jack Hayward High School Gymnasium. Be sure to represent your business, or come to learn and see all that Grand Bahama Island has to offer in one-stop at the biggest and best business / trade expo.  Network and build your business.

Nareca Swann, is the young entrepreneur and founder behind Go-Global.  She is excited with the response she's been getting in while connecting business owners across the islands and country. Also the other individuals apart of the event are Sheanda Cooper-Rolle (legal advisor), Joyanne Roache (VP Marketing), Dadawn Charlton-Pinder (Fashion & Event Co-ordinator), and Derek Carroll (Graphics).

“For the past 10 tens years I have observed the economy of Grand Bahama. The slow down here has opened my eyes, and made me study and compare against the international market, especially since I deal with global clients in my family business every day.

“We need to connect with international companies to revive our economy," said Swann. "This investment will create more jobs, and put us on the map internationally.”

She is encouraging companies to showcase their businesses and services at this first expo which will be held annually. Swann's long-term vision is to expand the initiative to the other islands of the Bahamas, then into the Caribbean, and around the world.

Aside from business executives, the event also caters to those with specific talents and skills who may not own or want to own a business. The event will show these individuals how to market themselves, and how to professionally present themselves, and their work, to potential clients or employers.

Connecting talented individuals and future entrepreneurs, Go-Trade Business Expo will bring together people, products, and services. Grand Bahama has a lot of talent and diverse people: from the budding artist, straw vendor, the pop singer, or business-savvy individual.  "I want to connect my people to the world,” said Swann.

The event will also cater to foreign-based companies already operating in the Bahamas, as well as businesses throughout North America who wish to sign up as vendors.

Expect to get information, and gain knowledge about how to brand and market your business internationally and locally. Make your business more profitable $$!
