2nd Annual Asthma Awareness T-shirt design competition

The Grand Bahama Childhood Asthma Management Project is a group of passionate asthma advocates working together to spread awareness about pediatric asthma in The Bahamas. The groups vision is to make childhood asthma a public health priority through education, empowerment and advocacy because every breath counts.

To live up to their mandate, they have launched their second annual t-shirt design competition to find an inspiring design that represents the value of every breath we often times take for granted.  The winning designer can expect to see their design printed on to quality cotton t-shirts for sale through this coming May.

“Anyone in The Bahamas between the age of 10 and 25 is invited to enter. This is a creative way for us to highlight the design talent with in our community and we encourage everyone to submit a design. The competition is free and imagination is the only limitation to walking away with the cash prize” stated Olivia Curry, the group’s founder.

Winning Prize
  • A t-shirt with your winning design on it
  • A write up in the local newspaper
  • $100 cash
So use your imagination and get designing for a chance to see friends and family wearing your design!  Send your entry to: grandbahamachamp@gmail.com with the subject line ‘World Asthma Day T-shirt Competition 2015’ by February 20th.

The winner will be published on our groups Facebook page and in local media.

The competition started on February 1st 2015.  The deadline for entries is 11:59pm 20th February 2015.  The winner will be notified approximately one week after the competition deadline by email.
 
Rules & Eligibility


This competition is open to all youth age 10 – 25.  All entries must be received by 11:59pm 20th Feb 2015 to be eligible for consideration.

Submission Requirements
  • Your design must relate to the value of breathing or the topic of ASTHMA
  • Designs submitted should be saved as high quality tif images.  Submit your image with your with your name, date of birth and telephone contact  to grandbahamachamp@gmail.com with the subject line ‘World Asthma Day T-shirt Competition 2015'.
  • All designs must be an original design by the person submitting them.
  • A maximum of two (2) design entries per person.

Consent Agreement

By entering the competition, contestants automatically accept all conditions set forth in the rules & eligibility listed on our Facebook page.  Entrants also acknowledges the right of The GBCHAMP to use the entry for publications and promotions related to our outreach without compensation.  The GBCHAMP reserves the right to disqualify any entry not complying with the rules and eligibility requirements listed on our Facebook page as stated.

Judging

Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity and effectiveness of conveying the value of breathing to life and the importance of asthma awareness. The judges decisions will be final.
