“One of our island’s greatest assets is the abundance of marine life and ocean activities,” said Andrew Neubauer, the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “Now, we’re able to provide an exciting shark dive package to our guests who want to take their water sports up a notch.  I’ve experienced the shark dive myself and this is the one time you actually want to swim with the fish!”

Travelers booking a three-night vacation at the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort will receive one (1) two-tank shark dive for two people, while those booking a five-night stay will receive two (2) two-tank shark dives for two. Each dive takes place at Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas – Nassau’s leading full-service dive destination – and includes the following:

    * Free Swim – First, divers will go on a “free swim” with the sharks, where the curious creatures will follow them along a wall, creating a truly natural encounter.

    * Feeding Dive – During the second dive, participants kneel on the ocean floor, forming a semi-circle in front of a professional shark feeder. The sharks swim around the divers in a feeding frenzy, chasing after the bait that the shark feeder places on a pole spear.

Soft adventure-seekers at the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort can enjoy a variety of complimentary non-motorized water sports activities on-property, such as kayaking, sailing and snorkeling. Easily accessible to travelers throughout the United States and Canada, the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort is located 15 minutes from Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport, which is serviced by a number of domestic and international carriers.
