The Northern Bahamas Council for the Disabled’s programs allow members to gain exposure that may not have otherwise been possible. Their programmes aid in the growth of the participants’ self-esteem, helping in becoming more self sufficient and more productive members of society.

The mission of the Northern Bahamas Council for the Disabled is to provide opportunities to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities through the establishment of educational, training, vocational and social programmes.

Persons who join the Council receive support, education, fellowship, and come together to work as a group to find solutions for individual and community challenges. If you would like to register with the Council please call their office, located at 11A Kipling Building at 242.352.7720, where a member of the council is ready to assist with any questions or concerns you may have.
