After a well deserved break, the
Flying Fish team are excited to be
re-opening their doors again this
Sunday, September 14th for the fall season!
Back from a few weeks' of a working vacation, Chef Tim has added some fantastic new dishes inspired by his travels. Come in and enjoy some of the finest dining in the Caribbean.
Chef Tim and Rebecca travelled to New York City twice over the summer for events to promote Flying Fish and Grand Bahama Island. The first event on July 10th, Bahamian Independence Day, was at James Beard House. The legendary food venue hosted an evening of sustainable seafood with a menu by celebrity chef Anthony Lamas of Seviche in Louisville KY. Chef Lamas was so kind as to offer Chef Tim the opportunity to join him for this event. They did another event together in Louisville September 3rd and another will take place at Flying Fish on October 20th where they will collaborate on 9 course tasting menus. If you are interested in attending either of these events please call 242-373-4363 to make reservations. Both events are limited seating and will sell out very quickly.
While in New York in July, Tim and Rebecca made a stop at the offices of the Consul General of the Bahamas, the Honorable Forrester Carroll. He was most gracious and accommodating and made sure to let them know that the Bahamas was proud of Flying Fish's accomplishments.
Then on August 7th Chef Tim and Rebecca returned to do an evening of Caribbean food for Ocean Style Magazine's event ReservedNYC for Caribbean children's charities. While there, Chef Tim did many interviews for local and international media, while providing some fantastic Bahamian themed food.
