West End Primary Staff Enjoy Teachers' Appreciation Gift

WEST END, Grand Bahama Island – In honor of Teachers’ Appreciation, Ginn Resorts treated 10 staff members from West End Primary School to a fun-filled weekend at Ginn Reunion Resort near Orlando, Fla.

The 2,300-acre luxury resort located minutes down the road from Walt Disney World has a water park and swim pavilion, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a full-service spa, fine dining and casual cuisine, kids programs, lighted tennis courts and three championship golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson. Accommodations include one- two- and three-bedroom villas and luxury homes.

“Everyone commented on the breathtaking, uniformed landscaping and the quiet and exclusive ambience,” said Natasha Bridgewater-Lockhart, a K-3 teacher and Teachers’ Appreciation committee chairman. “The bedrooms were cozy with exquisite furnishings, and the staff was very courteous, helpful and welcoming. Everything was phenomenal.”

The 10 staff members who were treated to the four-day excursion included: Natasha Bridgewater-Lockhart, K-3 teacher; Deidra Stewart, teacher's aid K-4; Andrea Roberts, Grade 1; Donnalee Wildgoose, Grade 2; Angela Simms, Grade 3; Navidia Mills Grade 4; Analita Swann, Grade 5; Ramona Symonette, Grade 6; George Rolle, Security; and Ida Rolle, Janitress.

This is the second year that Ginn Resorts has hosted West End Primary School staff members at Ginn Reunion Resort.
