GBPA statement on Six Senses Grand Bahama Hotel, Villas, and Branded Residences

3, 2022 - The Grand Bahama Port Authority Limited (GBPA), and the Grand
Bahama Development Company Limited (DEVCO) are excited about the recent
announcement by world renowned and award-winning hotel operator Six
Senses. According to the release, the 36-acre project site will be the
future home of 45 waterfront and canal villas, as well as a premier
restaurant, boathouse, pool bar and world class amenities.
The
development and investment team behind this transformational project,
the Weller Development Partners, and Pegasus Capital Advisors, were
brought to the table by GBPA Director Rupert Hayward. The GBPA and DEVCO

Rise in hospitalizations not linked to spike in COVID-19 Cases - May 26, 2022 - 11:14:53 AM
Minister of Health & Wellness, the Honourable Dr. Michael R.
Darville confirmed that there has been an uptick in positive COVID-19
cases in particular in New Providence over the past three (3) weeks. The
Minister added that samples to test for the Omicron BA.2. Variant were
collected and sent for genome mapping.
