The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has released its
Official List of Shelters for the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season which

Career Fair for 1,000 Grand Bahama students - May 18, 2022 - 10:49:19 PM
The Ministry for Grand Bahama in conjunction with the Ministry of
Education and the Department of Labour will host a two-day Career Fair
for 1,000 students, from grades nine to 12, at Grand Lucayan resort
beginning May 19.
The announcement was made by Permanent
Secretary for the Ministry for Grand Bahama Harcourt Brown during a

On Tuesday, 17th May 2022, at approximately 7:40 AM, a Bahamasair
chartered flight departed New Providence for Port-au-Prince, Haiti with
sixty-two (62) Haitian nationals onboard; forty- six (46) males, twelve
(12) females, and four (4) minors were in this group.
Additionally,
at 1:20 PM, a Bahamasair flight carrying ten (10) Cuban nationals
departed New Providence for Havana, Cuba. This group consisted of nine
