Approximately 50 vendors received the Emergency Vendor Relief Grant on
Friday, April 8, 2022 -- distributed on the first floor of the Harold
DeGregory Building, where the Ministry for Grand Bahama is housed.

Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the

Ministry of Health and Wellness Stages Health Fair - Apr 11, 2022 - 9:48:15 AM
The Ministry of Health and Wellness held a Health Fair at its Meeting
Street office on Friday, April 8, 2022. A number of stations were set up
for health care providers to administer free screening for Chronic
Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Also during the fair, the Minister of
Health and Wellness the Hon Michael Darville, and Permanent Secretary
ColinHiggs presented the winning students who participated in the
colouring competition for Kidney Health Month in March. The students who
represented Grade 2 of government and private primary schools not only
coloured pictures but also had to write about their favourite fruit and
vegetables...

The Bahamas Agriculture & Marine Science Institute (BAMSI)
recently hosted its inaugural Food Preservation & Food Safety
Virtual Workshop. The two-day event saw almost two hundred participants
zoom in from across the Bahamas and around the world to learn from food
safety and food preservation experts.

CENSUS 2022 workers of Bimini, Berry Islands, Abaco, Grand Bahama took the Oath of Secrecy - Apr 5, 2022 - 10:11:32 AM
Participants of the northern Bahamas trained to gather
information for Census 2022 took the Oath of Secrecy on Monday, April 4,
2022 during their launch ceremony. Census workers of Bimini, the Berry
Islands and Abaco joined the 11 a.m. session preliminaries online. They
were trained jointly online with Grand Bahama Census workers. The
launch ceremony was held at the Church of the Ascension. Island
Administrator Gregory Knowles encouraged the group to be confident,
fearless and to have integrity.
