new campaign designed to help tackle the immediate crisis of the rapid
increase in domestic and sexual violence due to the impacts of COVID-19,

The new Permanent Representative of Peru to the Organization of American
States (OAS), Vicente Zeballos, today presented his credentials to the
Secretary General of the Organization, Luis Almagro, during a virtual
ceremony.
Ambassador Zeballos said that the crisis caused by

In a gesture of solidarity with Latin America and the Caribbean during
the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of the United Arab
Emirates, through its Embassy in Washington D.C., donated 36,855 pieces
of personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical personnel to the

Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) launched a new
USD $4.5 million initiative entitled “Caribbean Climate Resilience
Initiative.” This new initiative will help countries reduce disaster

variability.
