RBPF MISSING: 63 year old American visitor to Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a report of a missing 63 year old American visitor.

Reports are that on Monday 14th July 2014, shortly after 4:30pm, a crew of American visitors were on board a vessel scuba diving in the area of Memory Rock situated some four miles north of West End, Grand Bahama. After scuba diving, they discovered that one of the passengers was missing. A search was made of the entire area with negative results. An extensive search was made by the Royal Bahamas Police Force Marine section and the Royal Bahamas Defence Force with the assistance of the U.S Coast Guard.

The missing passenger was reported to be a 63 year old male of Texas U.SA.

Investigations are ongoing in this matter.
