Police are requesting the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a 15 year old female dead.

Reports are that on Sunday 30th March 2014 shortly after 3:00am, police received information that a female was shot at a bar in the Kings Subdivision, Eight Mile Rock area, by a male who is known to the police who then fled the scene.

Officers responded and met the body of the decease lying on the outside of the establishment with gunshot wounds to the head. EMS personnel was called to the scene and pronounced the body lifeless.

This matter is under active police investigation.
