Drug arrest made on Queen's Highway, Grand Bahama

Freeport, Bahamas - Three persons are in police custody after they were found in possession of dangerous drugs.

Reports are that on Friday 29th August 2014, shortly after 2:00am, Drug Enforcement Officers while on Queens Highway, conducted a search of a 1998 Toyota Corolla with three occupants, two males and one female and discovered a black travelling bag that contained (2) taped packages of suspected marijuana. The estimates weight of the suspected marijuana is (15) pounds and its estimated street value is $15,00.00.

Investigations are continuing in this matter.
