Grand Bahama traffic fatality leaves 64 year old male dead

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic fatality that has left a 64 year old male resident of Bootle Bay dead.

Reports are that on Thursday 19th February 2015, shortly after 5:00pm, police received information that a traffic accident had occurred on Queens Highway, West End involving a 2001 gold Buick Century that was driven by a lone male driver who reportedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into nearby bushes. The driver of the vehicle was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via EMS personnel. Sometime after 7:00pm on Thursday 19th February 2015, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police are investigating and are sending a strong message to the general public especially those traversing the streets of Grand Bahama, to drive within the speed limit and to drive with care and attention.
