Grand Bahama traffic fatality

Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic fatality that has claimed the life of a female resident.

Reports are that on Thursday 13th November 2014 shortly after 5:00pm, police received information that a traffic accident had occurred on Queens Highway in the Pirates Cove area, involving a 2002 Buick Century and a silver Jaguar. The collision resulted in both vehicles receiving extensive damages. The driver and passenger of the Buick received minor injuries and were transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital by EMS personnel. The driver of the Jaguar succumbed to her injuries at the scene and her passenger was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital by EMS personnel where she is listed in serious condition.

Police are actively investigating this matter.
