Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are searching for two males who reportedly robbed a male and female in the Malibu Reef area.
Reports are that shortly after 12:00am on Thursday 24th April 2014, police received information that a male and female resident of Freeport, while in the area of Malibu Reef on the beach were approached by two males whom they described as one being 5”11 inches in height, medium built, dark complexion with a red bandana covering his head, a white shirt covering his face and armed with a hatchet and the other was described as slim built with a white shirt covering his face. The culprits stole two cell phones together valued at $950.00 and fled the area.
Police are appealing to the general public for anyone with information that can assist them in this matter to contact them at telephone numbers 350-3107/8, 911/911 or call your nearest police station.
