“ARMED ROBBERY – GRAND BAHAMA”
Freeport, Grand Bahama - On Monday 15th December 2014 shortly before 3:00pm, police received information that a male while in the down town area of Freeport, Grand Bahama, was approached by three males known to him who held him at knife point and robbed him of jewelry and cash.
A short time later quick action by police resulted in the arrest of two 22 year old male suspects who are assisting police with their investigations into this matter.
“DROWNING INCIDENT – GRAND BAHAMA”
Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an alleged drowning incident that has left a 21 year old American visitor dead.
Reports are that on Monday 15th December 2014 shortly before 8:00pm, police received information that a U.S registered Dive Boat with passengers on board were diving off West End when one of its passengers a 21 year old male was allegedly found in the water unresponsive. He was transported to West End where he was pronounced dead by doctor. Police are actively investigating this matter.
