RBPF Grand Bahama: 3 males arrested for stolen vehicles in two separate incidents - Found drugs

QUICK ACTION BY OFFICERS OF THE MOBILE DIVISION
RESULTED IN THE ARREST OF THREE MALES FOR STOLEN
VEHICLES IN TWO SEPARATE INCIDENTS.

In the first incident, on Saturday 9th June 2018, shortly before 1:00pm, officers of the Mobile Division, acting on information saw a vehicle with two males wanted by the Central Detective Unit for stolen vehicles. Officers gave chase and while in the area of Grenfell Avenue they were able to arrest both suspects.

In the second incident, on the same date shortly after 2:00pm, officers of the Mobile Division, while on mobile patrol, and acting on information went to the Kennedy Circle area, where they arrested a male who was found in a vehicle that was reported stolen that morning. The male suspect was arrested and taken into police custody.
They are all expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court early next week.

FOUND DRUGS – GRAND BAHAMA

Reports are that on Saturday 9th June 2018, shortly after10:00am, officers of the Central Detective Unit acting on information, went to an area on Frobisher Drive where they searched a derelict vehicle and discovered two plastic bags containing a quantity ofsuspected marijuana. The drugs was collected and the area checked for suspects. No arrest was made in this matter.

Police are actively investigating these matters.

  •     Follow all instructions from your local authorities regarding evacuation or other safety procedures.
