RBPF Grand Bahama: A male arrested for break-in at Financial Institution

A 35 year old male was arrested by officers of the Central
Detective Unit in connection with the break-in at a Financial Institution on Friday 7th December 2018.

Freeport, Bahamas - Reports are that on Tuesday 11th December 2018, shortly after 6:00pm, officers of the Central Detective Unit arrest a 35 year old male in the Coral Road area, in connection with the break-in at a Financial Institution. He is expected to be formally arraigned before the Magistrate Court this week.

Officers of the Northern District continue to make significant
arrest on Tuesday 11th December 2018

Reports are that on Tuesday 11th December 2018, officers on the Island of Abaco arrested three (3) males for possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger life and grievous harm. In Grand Bahama officers of the Central Police Station arrest three (3) males on outstanding warrants issued by the Magistrate Court. Officers of the Mobile Division arrest (2) males on outstanding warrants and shopbreaking, and officers of the Rapid Response Unit took into custody three males for causing harm and outstanding warrants. 

Drug Enforcement Unit Officers arrest two males on Possession of Dangerous Drugs charges.

In the first incident on Tuesday 11th December 2018, shortly after 8:00am, Drug Enforcement Unit officers took into custody an American male after he was found in possession of dangerous drugs namely marijuana, on board a cruise line at the Freeport, Harbour.

In the second incident, on the same date, shortly after 10:00am, Drug Enforcement Unit officers arrest two Bahamian males on Queens Highway, after a search of their vehicle uncovered 7.88lbs. of suspected marijuana with a street value of $7,800.00 seven thousand eight hundred dollars.
