Armed Robbery in Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police are searching for (2) two men who they want to question in connection with an armed robbery.

Reports are that on Friday 4th July 2014 shortly before 10:00pm, two men reportedly entered a business establishment in the Pinedale, Eight Mile Rock area, armed with a handgun and knife respectively and robbed it of an undetermined amount of money. The men were described as both wearing masked, the suspect brandishing the handgun was reportedly 5’9” in height average built, wearing a long sleeve white shirt, a long camouflage pants with a dark cloth covering his face. The other is described as brandishing a knife who stands at 5’7” in height, average built, clad in a dark long sleeve shirt and dark long cargo pants. They both then fled the area on foot.

Police are investigating and are appealing to the general public for anyone with information, that can assist the police with their investigation into this matter to
contact them at telephone numbers 911/919 or 348-3444 or 348-3445 Eight Mile Rock Division or call your nearest police station.

The public is also advised that the Gerald Bartlette Complex, Police Headquarters building telephone lines are temporarily out of order, efforts are being made to have these telephone lines restored.
