RBPF Grand Baham conducts community walkabout and traffic road check

“COMMUNITY WALKABOUT – GRAND BAHAMA”

Freeport, Grand Bahama - In keeping with the Commissioners Policing Plan for 2014, Officers of the Lucaya Division, Grand Bahama conducted a community walkabout in the Seahorse Village community on Tuesday 26th August 2014, between the hours of 10:00am to 11:30am. The officers spoke with residents, pedestrians and motorists about any concerns in the area while distributing “safety tips” flyers.

The officers pledged to continue their walk to cover the entire area with a view to forming a “Crime Watch Group”.

“TRAFFIC ROAD CHECK – GRAND BAHAMA”

In keeping with the Commissioners Policing Plan for 2014, Officers of the Traffic Division along with Officers of the Lucaya Division, in a combined effort on Wednesday 27th August 2014, between the hours of 7:30am and 9:30am, in the area of Midshipman and Seahorse Road issued a total of (42) citation to motorist for various traffic infractions.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force would like to encourage the motoring public to always adhere to the laws on our streets and to drive with care and attention and to always buckle up and wear their helmets.
