Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police are reporting that on Thursday 3rd September 2015 shortly before 7:00pm. A concern citizen of the Grand Bahama community turned in a firearm that was reportedly found in the Eight Mile Rock area. The firearm a silver .380 pistol along with (4) live rounds of ammunition was found earlier that day.
The Royal Bahamas Police Force would like to encourage members of the Grand Bahama community to continue to partner with them in this fight against crime.
TRAFFIC SAFETY TIP:
When driving through a school zone, obey the speed limit, and drive as if the children in the school zone are YOUR very own.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymous call Police at 919/911 or Crime Stoppers at 328-tips (8477) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands) or your nearest police station.
