RBPF Grand Bahama: Illegal firearm arrest

One male is in police custody after he was found in possession
of an illegal firearm and ammunition in Grand Bahama.

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Reports are that on Saturday 22nd June 2019 shortly after 3:00am, officers of the Northeastern Division, Mobile Unit and the Central Detective Unit, acting on information, proceeded to a business establishment on East Sunrise Highway, where they arrested a 31 year old male of Scott Avenue, who was found in possession of a .9mm glock pistol with (1) magazine containing (11) rounds of .9mm ammunition. 

The male suspect is expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court early next week.
