Grand Bahama DEU discover illegal ammunition

Freeport, Bahamas - Reports are that on Monday 17th September 2018, shortly after 9:00pm, officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit, while on mobile patrol in the Bass Lane area, observed a group of males in an abandoned building. The males on seeing the officers fled the area on foot. Officers then searched the abandoned building and discovers (15).223 rounds of ammunition, (60) .40 rounds of ammunition, and (34) 9mm rounds of ammunition with a total of (109) rounds of ammunition. 

No suspects were arrested in this matter and police are investigating.
